Letter from Recruitment Chair

On behalf of the women of Delta Gamma, we first want to congratulate you on deciding to participate in Formal Recruitment!

In 1873, Delta Gamma was founded on the core values of sisterhood, scholarship, leadership, and service. Over 140 years later we strive to live out these values by fostering high ideals of friendship, promote educational and cultural interests, create a sense of true social responsibility, develop the best qualities of character, and to uphold and enforce our values.

Here at the Eta Theta chapter, it is our sisterhood and friendship that keeps us bound together. Whether it be for a late night of studying or for a weekend road trip, you know that you can always count on a DG sister to be there with you. It is through these memories that life-long friendships are created.

Service is very important to the women of Eta Theta. With our philanthropy being Service for Sight, we put in countless hours serving those who are blind or visually impaired. We are extremely fortunate to have one of four Delta Gamma Center’s in the whole nation right here in Saint Louis. At the DG Center we have the pleasure of working hand in hand with children and their families who have visual impairments.

Eta Theta is a place where you can find women who will challenge you to become the best version of yourself. It is a place to call your home away from home. We wish you the best of luck with Formal Recruitment and cannot wait to meet you!
